IBPS Clerk Salary: Allowances

Special AllowanceThe initial Special Allowance is 7.5 % of the Basic Pay. After finishing of 1 year of service, Special Allowance will be increased by Rs 400 to Rs 500.
Dearness Allowance (DA)This component is 4 % of the Basic Pay. DA depends on the CPI and is revised after every three months.
House Rent Allowance (HRA)The HRA depends on the location of the job.  It will be 8.5 % of the Basic Pay for Metro Cities, 7.5 % of the Basic Pay for cities having a population of more than 5 lakhs, and 6.5 %of the Basic Pay for other cities.
Travel AllowanceExpenses on official journeys and travel bills will be reimbursed by the bank.

Eligibility Criteria For IBPS Clerk 2018 Notification 

Nationality / Citizenship:
A candidate must be either –
(i) a Citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan or
(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

Age Limit
Minimum: Age 20 years Maximum Age: 28 years
An applicant who wants to apply for IBPS Clerk CRP, must have been born not earlier than 02.09.1990 and not later than 01.09.1998 (both dates inclusive)

Age Relaxation Criteria
Some of the following categories exceptions for age limt as mentioned above and not applicable for General Category Cadidates, they must have a specific age limit as mentioned above.

  1. SC/ST Candidates 5 years
  2. Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) 3 years
  3. Persons With Disabilities 10 years
  4. Ex-Servicemen / Disabled Ex-Servicemen actual period of service rendered in the defence forces + 3 years (8 years for Disabled Ex-Servicemen belonging to SC/ST) subject to a maximum agemlimit of 50 years
  5. Widows, divorced women and women legally separated from their husbands who have not
    remarried 9 years
  6. Persons ordinarily domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 01.01.1980 to

  8. Regular employees of the Union Carbide Factory, Bhopal retrenched from service (Applicable to Madhya Pradesh state only)

Educational Qualifications for IBPS Clerk 2018 Notification

  1. A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
  2. Computer Literacy: knowledge of Operating and working in computer systems is mandatory and must have the certificate or studied in their High School/College/Institute Computer or Information Technology as one of the subjects.
  3. Candidates should be proficient in the state’s language from which they are applied, it means the candidate must be proficient in read, write and speaking of the language of post applied state.

The applicant who wants to apply for IBPS Clerk CRP must register by enteringing the personal details like

  1. Name as per in matricu;ation,

  6. Marital Status

  8. Email address.

These details are required to enter in an online application for completion of registration. After successful registration applicant received sms details of user id and password for login to his/her registered mobile, then the applicant has to fill further details of application like education qualification and bank preference by logging in onlne application.

After completion of application form, the applicant has to check once again respective details in application for any correction to avoid mistakes before final submission of application.

After Successful rechek of application without any mistake, then you can submit application and make Online Payment of the requisite application fee/ intimation charges if applicable for applicant’s category, then only application will be accepted otherwise it will be rejected.
If the payment transaction of application fee is successful, then applicant can take print out copies of e-receipt of payment and filled application form as for reference.

Application Fee
Applicant can pay application fee through Online payment mode. Application and intimation charges shall be as follows
– Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM candidates.
– Rs. 600 /- for all others.

Mode of Payment of Application Fee
The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets by providing requied information for payent of application fee.

Pre Exam Training for IBPS Clerk 2018 Notification

Pre Exam Training for IBPS Clerk will be arranged by the Nodal Banks/ Participating Organisations to a limited number of candidates, who opt for and wish to avail of Pre-Examination Training in online application and candidates must be belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes/ Minority Communities/ Ex-Servicemen/ PersonsWith Disabilities at certain centres.

Selection criteria of candidates for IBPS Clerk 2018 Notification

Candidates will be selected based on the performance in online examination consisting of two phases as preliminary and mains examination in objective type.

(i) Preliminary Online Exam
This exam will be of qualifying in nature. The score of prelims exam won’t be considered for the final selection of candidates.There will be sectional cut off which is required to be cleared in each section and total cut off marks will be there as per category decided by IBPS.

(ii)Mains Online Exam
The score of IBPS Clerk mains will be considered in the final selection. Candidate has to score better marks to shortlist for the selection in the recruitment process.

Language Test
Shortlisted candidates in mains examination need to qualify in local language proficiency test.

IBPS Clerk 2018 Notification – Admit Card or Call Letter

The applicant can download their admit card or call letter from IBPS official website before 15 days of examination. For downloading Admit card, Applicant must be login with their username and Password. The Admit card or call letter having information about online test centre and time of the test.
